From October’s edition of the Internet Resources Newsletter, we’ve extracted the following engineering highlights:
Subject launchpad, Pinakes, has recently been updated. It includes links to two engineering-specific subject gateways, Intute (science, engineering and technology) and aecportico (architecture, engineering and construction). Resources are of high quality and hand-selected.
Courses and Conferences: A five-day course on High Performance Computations for Engineering takes place in Hungary at Pecs University from 18th May – 23rd May 2006. It is aimed at PhD students and Research Assistants. Details available from http://morpheus.pte.hu/~peteri/hpc2008/.
The International Joint Conferences on Computer, Information, and Systems Sciences, and Engineering, CIS2 07, will be held on Dec. 3rd -12th, 2007. This will be an entirely virtual, Internet conducted event. Full details at http://www.cisse2007online.org/.
